Punjab MSMEs raise difficulties to PSIEC chief

Ludhiana, Dec 5 (KNN) Chamber of Industrial & Commercial Undertakings (CICU) members held an interaction with Sumeet Jarangal, MD, Punjab Small Industries & Export Corporation (PSIEC) and apprised him of the various issue of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) here.

''CICU, highlighted the issues of industry such as bad condition of roads, sewerage cleaning, street light, garbage dumping etc,'' said Upkar Singh Ahuja, president, CICU.

He also informed Jarangal about the bad condition of the focal point.

The CICU president also said that the CICU had held various meeting with the government regarding the development of the area, but to no avail.

''The entry of the focal point should be given and extra land should also be used for parking the trucks/heavy vehicles,'' he added.

He also suggested that the government should provide a special pocket for MSMEs at some special rates in Dhanansu Focal Point, so that promotion of new MSME industries becomes easier.

Pankaj Sharma, general secretary, CICU, emphasised that pending work of road should be started on priority basis and a sub-division office for focal points should be established. Jarangal, said he will take up all issues shared by industrialists and assured to resolve them soon.
