Mumbai, Jan 23 (KNN) With the aim to woo investments for the state in various sectors, the Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann on Sunday began his two-day visit to Mumbai.

During his visit, the chief minister reiterated the commitment of his government to help the state emerge as an industrial hub in the country. “The state government is already making efforts to put the state in the orbit of a high-growth trajectory of industrial development,” he said

Mann also extended the invitation to the Industry giants to attend the upcoming Invest Punjab Summit, to be held next month in Mohali.

I will personally showcase Punjab as a land of opportunities and growth to the entrepreneurs in Mumbai, he added.

In September last year, the CM had embarked on a series of engagements in Germany to promote Punjab as a preferred investment destination and woo global investments for the state.  (KNN Bureau)
