Punjab International Trade Expo to be held in Amritsar from Dec 8

Amritsar, Nov 30 (KNN) A five-day Punjab International Trade Expo (PITEX) is all set to begin in Amritsar from December 8, 2022.
The trade expo is being organised by the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) in collaboration with the Punjab government.

After holding a meeting on Tuesday with various departments regarding the preparations for the trade fair, Deputy Commissioner Harpreet Singh Sudan said PITEX was eagerly awaited by locals as the exhibition had carved out a niche for itself during the last 15 years and will help in building Industrial relations.

As per reports, the expo will have over 500 Kiosks displaying array of products from the State and across the county.

Jaideep Singh, convener, PHDCCI, said apart from national and international industries, institutions of the state government, PSIEC, GAMADA, Punjab Agro Industry Corporation, PEDA, Milkfed and Markfed would take part in the trade fair.  (KNN Bureau)
