Punjab received investment proposals worth Rs 38,000 cr in last 10 months, says CM Mann

Chandigarh, Feb 14 (KNN) Punjab in the last 10 months has received investments worth Rs 38,175 crore in various industry verticals, said Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Monday.

Addressing the media in Chandigarh, Mann pointed out that the state has received investments in various sectors including real estate and housing, textile, manufacturing, healthcare, agri processing and alloy steel.

As per reports, the state government is optimistic that these investments will help generate over 2.43 lakh jobs in the state.

The CM further said the state will also be holding an investment summit on February 23 and 24 in Mohali. With the aim to seek investments for the state, the chief minister has been visiting various cities including Bangalore, Mumbai, and Hyderabad.

Industry minister Anmol Gagan Mann was also present at the press meet.  (KNN Bureau)
