Chandigarh, July 8 (KNN) A skill laboratory was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor (VC) Renu Vig at Panjab University on July 7, 2023.

The Skill lab is being set up under the Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) scheme.

The RUSA laboratory has been set up wit the aim to develop skills related to anthropology. 

The skill laboratory would eventually lead to generation of ideas for start-ups as well as for future directions in research and development, reported Tribune.

At the inaugural event, the VC interacted with the MSc students of fourth semester who presented posters of their research work. 

Prof KN Saraswathy and Prof RP Mitra evaluated the students' research work. 

University RUSA coordinator Prof Rajeev K Puri, Prof MC Sidhu and other faculty members were among those present at the inaugural event.
