RAI Industries Association focuses on robust training of trainers at ITIs across Sonepat

Sonepat, July 11 (KNN) Sonepat based RAI Industries Association organized a Skill Development seminar in Kundli on the topic "Instructor key to a skilled workforce”.

Niteen Sharma, General Manager of Honda Group was the chief of honour of the event which was held on July 9. 

Its main objective was to encourage the instructors working in ITIs and supervisors of industrial units to prepare the trainees studying in it is and to impart training through latest technical means as per the industry demand.

Addressing the programme, Rakesh Chhabra President of RAI Industries Association assured full cooperation from the industries to ITIs in the district  along with financial assistance.

Chhbara who is also the Vice President at Federation of Indian Micro and Small & Medium Enterprises (FISME) thanked all the dignitaries who attended the programme.

Joint Director Rajendra Kumar Rana was the key speaker of the seminar.

Vikram Singh Assistant Teachers Advisor District Sonepat and Captain Sanjay Sheoran Apprenticeship and Placement Officer were also present.

Speaking on the occasion, Sharma said that the economy of the country depends on the industries and a skilled man power is required to make the best quality products in the industries, which requires ITI to prepare.

“By playing an important role, instructors can indirectly contribute significantly in improving the economy of the country,” he added.

Explaining the schemes of ITI in detail to the representatives of industrial units, Assistant Apprenticeship Consultant Eng. Vikram Singh said that it includes dual system of training and on job training of students in establishments for short duration etc.

Capt. Sanjay Sheoran, Apprenticeship and Placement Officer, Sonepat gave detailed information about the Apprenticeship Act 1961 to everyone on this occasion.

Describing about the essentials and benefits of apprenticeship to all the industrial units, he said that Haryana has been the first in the state of Haryana in establishing apprenticeship of students with the cooperation of industrial units in Sonepat district.

He also invited all the establishments for the Prime Minister's National Education Fair to be organized at the Government Industrial Training Institute on Monday.  (KNN Bureau)
