Rajamane is new KASSIA president

Bengaluru, Jun 16 (KNN) Chidananda M Rajamane has been elected as the President of Karnataka Small Scale Industries Association (KASSIA).

Rajamane heads a new managing council elected at the KASSIA annual general meeting for the year 2014.

He is the managing director (MD) of CSR Extrusions Private Ltd, a company that manufactures cold forged components. He has nearly 3 decades of experience as an entrepreneur.

“The state’s MSME sector is going through a transitional phase while we looked with renewed hope at the centre’s new roadmap for turning around the economy with a slew of new infrastructure projects,” the new KASSIA president said.

The other office bearers of the new team are VK Dikshit, Vice-President, NC Gopinathan, General Secretary, V Bhaskaran, Joint Secretary-I, Basavaraj S Javali, Joint Secretary-II, and HN Ramakrishnaiah, Treasurer.

Rajamane said the challenge for KASSIA, was to build the intellectual capital of the state’s small scale industrial sector so as to benefit from the emerging opportunities. (KNN/ST)
