Rajasthan aims to attract Rs 1.42 lakh crore investment
Jaipur, Oct 3 (KNN) Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot at the third meeting of the Board of Investment on Sunday approved a customised package for 32 projects that will attract an investment of more than Rs 1.42 lakh crore.
The approved projects are expected to create over 32,000 jobs, an official said.
While addressing the meet, Gehlot said the state government is committed to remove hurdles in investment to make it more feasible for businesses.
As per reports, the approved projects mainly fall in the domains of renewable energy sector, plastic, glass manufacturing, manufacturing of electric vehicles, textiles and mines.
Projects pertaining to minerals, food and beverage, hospitality, cement, auto and auto components, agriculture and agro-processing were also approved by the board, the release said.
The Rajasthan government had recently approved 500 crore budget for for payment of medical facilities to employees. (KNN Bureau)
