Rajasthan Elections: BJP manifesto promises 30K jobs in govt sector, 50 lakh jobs in pvt sector & Rs 5k per month as unemployment allowance

Jaipur, Nov 27 (KNN) Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley released the BJP manifesto in the state which is set to go for polls on December 7.

Addressing the media, Raje said her government met 630 of 665 promises made in the 2013 manifesto.

The ‘Sankalp Patra’ was unveiled by Jaitley, HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar, and Raje, in the presence of BJP leaders and party workers.

Speaking on the occasion, CM Raje promised every year, 30,000 jobs will be given in government sector in the state and 50 lakh jobs will be created in private sector in next five years.

The CM added that up to Rs 5,000 per month will be given as unemployment allowance to eligible youths above the age of 21 years.

She further said that the government will work hard to strengthen the education of girls. The government will provide meals, health checkups, education, and laptops.

Meanwhile, Congress President Rahul Gandhi, while addressing a rally in Jodhpur on Monday, said, “Modi finished the informal sector after introducing demonetisation. He destroyed the industry in Jodhpur.”

He said Small businesses of Jodhpur still facing the consequences of Demonetisation.

Rajasthan is one of the five states that will go to polls in the ongoing election season. While Chhattisgarh voted in two-phase elections on November 12 and 20, the next two seats to vote will be MP and Mizoram on November 28. Rajasthan and Telangana will be the last to vote on December 7. The results, billed as the semi-final to the big battle for Lok Sabha in 2019, will be declared on December 11.
