Jaipur, Nov 12 (KNN)  In an effort to promote the state as a perennial tourism destination of the country, the Rajasthan Tourism Department is organising the 'Jaipur International Travel Bazaar' (JITB) in August 2014.

The event is a part of “Incredible India” campaign under the Ministry of Tourism to reinforce the state as a world-class tourism destination with opportunity to make business sense out of it.

In this context, the state government has invited proposals from industry associations for organising the global fair.

JITB-2014 will focus on increasing inbound traffic including domestic and foreign into the state. It will also provide a business networking forum and a platform for interaction between Indian sellers and foreign buyers.

The two day mega event will be expecting around 250 leading sellers exclusively from Rajasthan and minimum 300 foreign and 250 Indian buyers.

Rajasthan, which is one of the most popular tourist destinations in India, accounts for 8 per cent of the state’s domestic product in tourism industry. (KNN/ST)
