Rajasthan govt keen to promote skill development in state, says CM Gehlot

Jaipur, July 15 (KNN) Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Thursday said that the state government is fully committed to strengthen the state machinery to provide effective skill training to the youth of the state.

In a meeting on improving the skill development strategy in Rajasthan, Gehlot stressed on the need to work according to the present conditions to rapidly increase the economic activities in state and to create more employment opportunities for the youth.

"In the upcoming budget, special attention will be given to the youth-centric schemes to help raise their financial standards," he said.

The state government, in its efforts to achieve its set goals, has increased the number and capacity of industrial training institutes.

The Rajasthan government has also opened a skill university in the state.

Earlier, the state government had invited Japanese companies to invest in the Barmer petrochemical complex and sectors like skill development, while underlining the positive approach of the firms for investment in the state.  (KNN Bureau)
