Rajasthan govt to unveil Dalit, Tribal Entrepreneurship Promotion Scheme

Jaipur, Sept 7 (KNN) The Rajasthan government is likely to launch Entrepreneurship Promotion Scheme for Dalit and Tribal communities of the state for their progress and development.

Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Rajasthan Dalit, Tribal Entrepreneurship Promotion Scheme aims to provide equal economic and growth opportunity to the youth.

Focusing on Dalits and tribals, they will be given full-time training in trades and products of the MSME sector, reported Hindustan Times.

In selected industries set up under the scheme there will be a provision of 10 per cent participation of the state.

It will be subject to a maximum of Rs 25 lakh per unit; and 100 per cent reimbursement of State Goods and Services Tax (SGST) for a period of 7years.

As per media reports Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has approved the draft of the scheme.

The full time training for various trades and products of MSME sector will be carried in partnership with Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DICCI) and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).  (KNN Bureau)
