Rajasthan industries department submits proposal for mega textile park

Jaipur, Feb 26 (KNN) The Rajasthan industries and commerce department has pitched a concept note to the union government for setting up of mega textile park at Jodhpur. 

It was presented by T Ravikanth, Principal Secretary at the department and Archana Singh, MD, RIICO.

Soon after this they will submit project proposal for the textiles project. 

Both senior officials also met the Union secretary, department of chemicals and petrochemicals, who assured support to the proposal at Pachpadra.

Last year in October the Union cabinet had cleared Rs 4,445 crore scheme to build seven mega textile parks over five years seeking to boost manufacturing and jobs. (KNN Bureau)
