Rajasthan Industries Min calls upon Kalraj Mishra today

New Delhi, Aug 7 (KNN) Minister of Industries, Rajasthan, Gajendra Singh today called upon the Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Kalraj Mishra.
“Minister of Industries, Rajasthan, Shri Gajendra Singh meeting the Minister for MSMEs, Shri @KalrajMishra,” the Ministry wrote on the micro blogging site twitter.
The manufacturing sector in Rajasthan, particularly the MSME sector is catching up steadily. MSMEs constitute an important segment in the economy.
Their contribution towards the state's industrial production, export, employment and creation of entrepreneurship base is very significant. In all, 15,221 industrial units have been registered during 2014-15. These units with a total investment of 1,863.36 crore have generated direct employment for 76,403 persons.
Handicrafts and Handlooms, Gems and Jewellery, Agro based/Food processing MSMEs, leather and leather products including Footwear, Textiles and apparels, Stone, Ceramics & Pottery, Light Engineering are the important MSME sectors in Rajasthan. (KNN Bureau)
