Rajasthan MSMEs urge CM to subsidise power tariff consumed between 10 pm to 6 am

Jaipur, Feb 19 (KNN) The micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) in the state of Rajasthan have urged Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot to allow factories operate during the night time between 10 pm to 6 am with reduced electricity rates.

They anticipate CM Gelhot to announce this during the state budget session which will begin on 23rd February, 2022.

N K Jain, President, Employers Association of Rajasthan said that the MSMEs need huge support from the state budget.

He suggested that the state government can finance small industries by issuing MSME credit cards like Kisan cards, in which MSMEs can get credit limit of 10 per cent of the turnover.

MSMEs have also pointed out that in Rajasthan, the cost of land for industries is high. 

Hence, development of infrastructure still very much needed is expected to be addressed in the upcoming state budget.

With regards to women entrepreneurs working in the MSME sector, interest-free loans up to Rs 50 lakh without guarantee has been demanded. (KNN Bureau)
