Rajasthan to host science & laboratory expo for small units

Jaipur, Nov 29 (KNN) In an effort to promote manufacturing competitiveness and global out sourcing in the industrial sector, the MSME Development Institute (MSME-DI) will organise a national exhibition cum vendor development programme on science and laboratory instruments.
The event is scheduled to be held on January-3, 2014 at the MSME Development Institute here.
Exhibitors will include equipment suppliers certification agencies, research institutions, importers and exporters, raw material suppliers and financial institutions, who will meet to discuss issues and areas of concern to stimulate dialogue for manufacturing competitiveness and global out sourcing during the two day exposition.
Providing a B2B and B2C platform, the event will promote the manufacture of scientific and as well as services providers.
It will also facilitate procuring departments (buyers) to select the right vendors to meet their requirements.
The objective of the exhibition is to show the strength and competitiveness of MSME sector which is a dominant sector of Indian economy for its contribution to rapid industrialization, exports and wealth creation at the bottom line of the pyramid.
It will showcase the new generation technologies, entire gamut of sophisticated laboratory and scientific equipment and other allied products industry.
Jaipur is developing as a major hub for industrial townships and there is a scope and huge potential for this sector. (KNN/ST)
