Japan Eyes Rajasthan's Solar Energy and Manufacturing Sectors for Strategic Collaboration

Jaipur, Dec 10 (KNN) At the Rising Rajasthan Global Investors Summit on Monday, the Japan Country Session emphasised the potential for deepening economic and technological ties between Japan and India, with a special focus on Rajasthan’s burgeoning manufacturing and renewable energy sectors.

The session, themed "Versatility of Industries: Manufacturing and Beyond," explored opportunities for collaboration through Japan's cutting-edge technologies and industrial strategies.

Ambassador of Japan to India, Keiichi Ono, praised Rajasthan’s proactive approach to creating a business-friendly environment, making it an ideal destination for Japanese investments.

He specifically highlighted the vast potential of Rajasthan's solar energy resources, an area where Japan's expertise could play a pivotal role in boosting the state’s renewable energy capabilities.

"Cooperation in the fields of manufacturing, the auto industry, and renewable energy, with a special focus on Rajasthan’s vast solar energy potential, is a probable area for Japan-India and Japan-Rajasthan cooperation," Ambassador Ono stated.
