RIICO to improve industrial areas

Jaipur, May 5 (KNN) The Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO) is taking up projects to improve basic and essential infrastructure like roads, drainage system and fire stations in a number of industrial areas.
RICCO has planned infrastructural works in Hirawala, Sitapura, Kukas, Kant Kalwar, Sarwar, Bhilwara, Khushkhera, Jodhpur and Bhiwadi.
Among its plans are to construct a fire station building at the industrial area in Hirawala; construction of RCC drain and precast RCC box culverts, cement concrete pavement and RCC drain, and also a road in Sitapura here.
Also in the pipeline are plans to construct/renew roads in rural areas of Kukas and Kant Kalwar. Sarwar will also get RCC drain and approaches culverts and a boundary wall; while Bhilwara will get a road and CD works.
Meanwhile, in Khushkhera and Bhiwadi, RICCO seeks to operate and maintain a fire station and fire brigades; while the drainage system in Jodhpur will be upgraded.
The initial work for the project has begun in the form of the BJP led government seeking to award the project to civic contractors. (KNN/ES)
