SEBI opens its new branch in Lucknow

Lucknow Apr 17 (KNN) Market regulator SEBI today said it has established a local office at Lucknow, a move that will help it decentralise its operations and more effectively protect investor’s interest in smaller cities.

“The local office so established shall look after the regulatory aspects of investor protection, facilitating redressal of investor grievances, financial and investor education and such other functions as may be assigned from time to time,” said SEBI in an official statement.
