Second apprenticeship mela to be held in UP on May 30
Lucknow, May 24 (KNN) The Uttar Pradesh government will be hosting the second apprenticeship mela in all 75 nodal ITIs across the state on May 30.
Special secretary of vocational education and skill development, Harikesh Chaurasia assured that the MSME, the employment department and the district administration will jointly work to make the fair a success.
Several intuitions will be joining the apprenticeship fair, and they will provide an opportunity to the people to do an apprenticeship, he informed.
It is mandatory practice to host apprenticeship mela by all the state government and other establishments in which 30 or more people are employed to keep apprenticeship, he added.
During the last apprenticeship fair 10,600 youth were benefitted from it, said Chaurasia.
He said that the state government is ensuring that people get opportunity to do an apprenticeship in various institutions by organising apprenticeship fairs in the ITIs of the districts. (KNN Bureau)
