Shillong handicraft exhibition underway till July 28
Shillong, July 21 (KNN) Indian handicraft exhibition organised by the National Design Centre (NDC) is underway at all saints hall in Shillong.
The primary objective of this initiative is to provide the state artist with an opportunity to interact with buyers to enter into long-term business and commercial relation.
The ongoing exhibition has been organised with the support of Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles.
“It will help artisans a platform to develop comprehensive market linkage with other artisans, craftspeople and entrepreneurs, “an official statement said.
Products ranging from verities of embroidery and crochet, hand block printing, cane & bamboo, jewellery, wood carving, art metalware, etc are on display.
The ten-day expo will conclude on July 28. (KNN Bureau)
