Mumbai, Sept 21 (KNN) Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) is hosting District Conclaves across 36 districts of the State of Maharashtra in collaboration with the Directorate of Industries.

The conclaves are on “Investment Promotion, Export, Ease of Doing Business, (EoDB) and One District One Product (ODOP)”.

In 18 districts it would be two-day mega conclave and one-day in the remaining districts.

Sivasubramanian Ramann, IA&AS, Chairman and Managing Director of SIDBI said that these conclaves would explore the strengths of each district and attract new investments and boost exports.

Major beneficiaries of these conclaves are expected to be MSMEs.

This association aims for the growth of MSMEs in the state and increasing the flow of credit to MSMEs.

These conclaves will greatly benefit MSMEs, industrialist and exporters of the district, said Dr. Harshadeep Kamble (IAS), Principal Secretary (Industries & Mining) & Development Commissioner, Industries Department, Government of Maharashtra.

The speakers in these events would include officials from the District Export Promotion Committee, District Industries Centre, Directorate General of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion Councils as well as SIDBI officials.  (KNN Bureau)
