Skill development programme for construction workers kicks-off in Longkhim, Nagaland

Longkhim, July 5 (KNN) A skill development training programme for the youth in the construction sector began at Longkhim town in Tuensang district on Monday.
The training programme is being organised by the Department of Employment, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, and District Skill Committee, Tuensang, in association with the Zynorique Initiative Society.
During the training,50 unemployed personnel will be given training in plumbing and electrician job roles.
The inaugural address was delivered by Netenba Ajem, Vice-Principal, Govt. ITI, Tuensang.
Speaking at the occasion, Phuleshe K Yepthomi, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Longkhim, highlighted the importance of skill development and also informed about the available opportunities for the youth in construction sector. (KNN Bureau)
