Skill development training commences at Tamlu in Nagaland for construction sector

Tamlu, June 21 (KNN) A week-long skill development training for the youth of Nagaland in construction sector has been organised by the Department of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship.

The demand driven skill development programme has been planned in partnership with Zynorique Initiative Society at Tamlu sub-division, Longleng.

The 7- day long training programme will end on June 26.

T. Imlisunep Ao, Government ITI Mokokchung principal chaired the inaugural proceedings.

According to a DIPR report, the objective of the training is to increase proficiency, grow skill sets, achieve a task in less time with more results and increase performance to provide more employability in the construction sector.

Around 50 participants will be learning skills on plumping, tiling and masonry works at the training.  (KNN Bureau)
