New Delhi, Jan 25 (KNN)  New Okhla Industrial Development Authority (NOIDA) will soon have a common municipal solid waste management (MSWM) facility in the region.

The authority will be appointing an environmental impact assessment (EIA) consultant who will assist in all stages or process such as screening, scoping, public consultation and appraisal process for obtaining EC for the proposed project.

In this regard, the authority has invited bids from interested applicants who are registered in the accredited list of EIA consultant as per National Accreditation Board for Education and Training (NABET) scheme.

NOIDA offers a pollution free high standard of living and highly supportive industrial environment with unparalleled infrastructure featuring numerous unmatched facilities.

To maintain the ecological balance, the authority envisages involving NGOs and governmental organisations in the development and the maintenance of green belts and parks. (KNN/ST)
