SP manifesto promises impetus for MSME sector to generate 1 cr jobs by 2027

New Delhi, Feb 9 (KNN) Ahead of the Uttar Pradesh state election, Samajwadi Party released its manifesto on Tuesday promising revival and encouragement of MSMEs to create 1 crore jobs by the year 2027. 

It has also announced 33 per cent reservation for women in government jobs and promising an 'Urban Employment Guarantee Act' on the lines of MNREGA. 

It has also promised to provide regular government jobs to 'Shiksha Mitras' within three years.

Speaking on the occasion, the SP president Akhilesh Yadav said the "The manifesto is aimed at taking Uttar Pradesh on the path of prosperity, development and progress in the coming times.” 

Giving reference to the year 2012, he said when the SP released its election manifesto it was fully implemented. 

He also said that several things which were not included in the manifesto were also implemented by the SP government.

With regards to farmers Yadav said, "Minimum support price will be provided to all crops and payment to sugarcane farmers will be ensured within 15 days. For this, farmers' corpus fund will be created if needed." 

It also guarantees to make all farmers debt-free by 2025 and enact a debt relief law for the benefit of extremely poor farmers. (KNN Bureau)
