Bhubaneswar, Aug 27 (KNN) The Startup Odisha Yatra 2.0 was inaugurated by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday which will cover over 100 educational institutions in the state in a span of 60 days. 

It is a flagship initiative of Startup Odisha which aims to lookout for grassroots innovators, women entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship among the youth.

The initiative will provide entrepreneurial exposure to the young minds and instil the culture of idea generation in the youth, said the CM at the launch event. 

By 2025 the state has set a target to set up 5000 startups and the Startup Odisha Yatra 2.0 will be pivotal in bringing innovative ideas to the forefront, he said.

Currently, Odisha bas more than 1300 recognized Startups generating 10,000 employments in the state. 

Women led startups are about 40 per cent in the state. 

To encourage idea generation bootcamps will be organised at various institutions across the state during the Yatra.  (KNN Bureau)
