Steps to boost MSME sector in Rajasthan announced

Jaipur, March 10 (KNN) A special scheme under state food processing mission for districts near Delhi with Rs 15 crore and incubators in one Engineering/MBA college in each division and establishment of 3D printing and robotics lab were some of the programmes announced by Vasundhra Raje, Chief Minister Rajasthan along with a new price preference policy and various others.

Facilitation centres for MSMEs, plug and play facilities and incubation centres for budding entrepreneurs in the budget to give an impetus to the MSME sector were also announced. She said that the announcements will not only bring back focus on the MSME sector but also help attract investors, create employment and aid new entrepreneurs.

Plug and play facilities and incubation centres will be set up to assist start up ventures and new entrepreneurs in the sectors like IT, garment making and electronics which will make easy entry and exit facility to them.

To further encourage investment in the state, the Rajasthan government plans to hold Resurgent Rajasthan in the month of November. To provide lands to the industries after the event land banks are being made by government.

Computerisation of District Industries Centres and Commissioner Industries Office will be done to provide necessary approvals to businessmen online.

The chief minister allocated Rs 2.50 lakh for design development, product upgradation and marketing support to Khadi sector under the ease of doing business. (KNN/SS)
