Tamil Nadu Startup and Innovation Mission invites applications from SC/ST
Chennai, May 21 (KNN) Entrepreneurs in Tamil Nadu belonging to SC/ST category have been invited by the Tamil Nadu Startup and Innovation Mission (TANSIM) to apply for funding to grow their businesses.
It is a separate fund for startups which are promoted by SC/ST founders.
Based on evaluation and recommendation of the Investment Committee the investment will be made in the form of equity or debt.
Only those startups are eligible for the funding whose 50% of equity is held by one or more persons who belong to SC/ST category.
It is compulsory that the entrepreneur is a native of Tamil Nadu or of Tamil origin and preference will be given to those who have their principal base of operation within Tamil Nadu. (KNN Bureau)
