Textile Training Program Launched for Rural Youth in Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu, Jun 8 (KNN) The Tamil Nadu Textiles Department is offering a free training program aimed at equipping unemployed youth with industry-relevant skills in the spinning and technical textile sectors. 

The initiative is designed to boost employment opportunities for the rural population in the state's vital textile industry.

According to an official release, the comprehensive curriculum and hands-on training will provide participants with valuable insights into various aspects of textile manufacturing and production processes. 

Upon completion, trainees will be well-positioned to pursue successful careers in the thriving textile sector.

Tamil Nadu plays a significant role in India's overall textile production, with the industry serving as a major employer for rural communities. 

The training program underscores the state government's commitment to skill development and job creation in this crucial economic domain.
