Telangana govt launches Y-Hub to encourage children and youth to take up entrepreneurship
Hyderabad, April 6 (KNN) Telangana government has launched Y-Hub to encourage and support children and youth towards entrepreneurship specifically those who are not interested in pursuing conventional career paths.
KT Rama Rao Industries and IT Minister announced on Monday that a Y-Hub will be set up in about 10,000 sqft and will be housed in the T-Hub 2.0.
Speaking at at the finale of the Telangana School Innovation Challenge 2021-22 Rao said that through Y-Hub students will be exposed to new age entrepreneurs as well as influencers and mentors.
He urged them to nurture a mindset of an entrepreneur and be a job creator instead of a job seeker.
Y-Hub is the latest incubator adding to the list of successful list of incubators such as T-Hub and We-Hub launched by the state government.
It will create a conducive space for children and youth to develop their innovation capabilities backed by the state-of-the-art innovation facilities and infrastructure.
Y-Hub is a collaboration of Telangana Government (Education and IT departments and Telangana State Innovation Cell), Unicef India, Yuwaah and Civil Society Organisations. (KNN Bureau)
