Hyderabad, Jul 29 (KNN) The state industrial policy of Telangana will be finalized within a week, state chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has said adding that the state agency will acquire land required for the industry.

He has directed the officials to acquire all land available for industry and transfer the same to Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TSIIC).

He has also proposed that the government should take all approvals in advance for the industries to be set up on this land.

Rao said that on the land transferred to TSIIC, proper infrastructure should be provided and industrial areas should be created.

Telangana CM has asked officials to ensure that the townships for the employees come up close to the industrial areas. He wanted clarity within a week on how the single window system and chasing cell in the chief minister's office will function and identify new legislations required for the purpose, according to a media report.
