Telangana industry associations to discuss key problems with ministers

Hyderabad, Jan 5 (KNN)  Various industry associations in the State of Telangana will be meeting ministers from different ministries in an effort to highlight their problems and the discuss the current business environment, in the hope of arriving at solutions to strengthen industries, commerce and trade in the state.

The meeting, the date of which is yet to be announced, is being organised by Telangana Industrialists Federation (TIF) in association with Federation of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTAPCCI), according to media reports.

Ministers who will be participating in the interactive meet are Minister for Handlooms and Textiles, Industries and Sugar, Jupally Krishna Rao; Minister for Commercial Taxes and Cinematography, Talasani Srinivas Yadav; Minister for Energy, Dr C. Laxma Reddy; and Vice-Chairman of Telangana Planning Commission, S Niranjan Reddy.

Industry associations that will be present at the meeting are the Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Plastics Manufacturers Association, Laghu Udyog Bharathi, Federation of Telangana Small Industries Association (FETSIA), Federation of Small and Micro Enterprises (FSME), Telangana Association for Pharma and Chemical Industries (TAPCI), Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DICCI), Aspired Lady Entrepreneurs of Telangana Association (ALETA), Automotive Park Industries Association, Micro and Small Industries Federation of Telangana, Confederation Small Micro Industries Association (COSMI), and Cherlapally Small Industries Association, the media report said.

In addition, Mallapur Industries Association, Uppal Industries Association, Cherlapally Industries Association Phase-3, Nacharam Industries Association, Jeedimetla Industries Association, Kushaiguda Notified Municipal Industrial Area Service Society, Patancheru Industries Association, Fibreglass Industries Association of Andhra Pradesh, Gandhinagar Industries Association, Kapra Small Scale (Micro) Industry Owners Association, Moula Ali Notified Municipal Industrial Area Service Society, TG Small Scale Industries Association will also participate in the meeting with the ministers, it added.  (KNN/ES)
