Telangana state Budget with 2.57 lakh crore

Hyderabad, Mar 7 (KNN) Telangana State Finance Minister T. Harish Rao on March 7 introduced the Telangana Budget for 2022-23 in the State Legislature with an outlay of 2,56,958 crore.

Following are the highlights in industrices and IT of Telangana state budget: 

  --  The brand image of Hyderabad has further increased after the formation of Telangana government. Investments are flowing in with a stable government, good governance and peace. Telangana in attracting national and international investment Pioneered.

  --  The TS iPass Act, introduced in November 2015, simplifies the process of approving industries. After this act 17,921 new permits were issued to industries into force, 13,631 industries started their operations. Established with an investment of Rs 1.07 lakh crore, these industries employ 8.17 lakh people. Another 4,982 industries are preparing for launch.

  --  The government has recently introduced the Telangana Electric Vehicle Policy. That brought in tens of thousands of crores of investment. 29 thousand jobs are coming in this sector.

  --  Telangana is booming in the IT sector. More than 1500 small and large IT industries are currently located in Hyderabad. Global giants like Microsoft, Google, Apple, IBM, Cognizant, Amazon, Oracle etc. are all based in Hyderabad.

  --  By the time the state of Telangana was formed, 3.23 lakh people were directly employed by the IT industry. As a result of the measures taken by the TRS government for IT development, 6.29 lakh people got direct jobs. Indirect employment opportunities have increased.

  --  Despite the global boom under the influence of Kovid, Telangana's IT exports grew by 12.98 per cent. In 2021 The total value of Telangana IT sector exports is 45 lakh 522 crores.

  --  The Government has set up a Center of Excellence in partnership with NAASCOM to make Telangana an Artificial Intelligence Hub. The government is constantly up to date with the latest technologies that are emerging. With the help of this new technology various services are being provided to the poor people. As part of this, the government has initiated the process of rapidly delivering medicines to remote areas and agency areas by drones.

  --  The Tea-Hub, established under the motto 'Come up with an idea and go with innovation', has become a wonderful gift to start-ups. Similarly, the government has set up a We-Hub for women.

  --  The development achieved by the Telangana government in the IT sector has set an example for other states. The Telangana IT sector provides 3 out of every 10 new jobs in the Indian IT industry. According to the Governance Index compiled by the Department of Administrative Reforms, Government of India, Telangana ranks first in the field of industry and commerce.
