Textile units in Madhya Pradesh demand 270 acres for garment cluster

Indore, Mar 19 (KNN) Textile units in Madhya Pradesh have demanded 270 acre near Dhamod and Dhar district in Madhya Pradesh.

The District and Industries Trade Center (DITC) is looking into the requirements. 

From the total demand, 70 acre is requested by Indore Readymade Textile Dealers Association.

Sunil Tripathi, GM, DITC, Dhar said, there has been a demand on regular basis for a textile cluster in Dhar district. 

“Recently many industrialists have also visited the region. We are identifying around 200 acre in and around Dhamnod for developing a textile unit cluster,” he added.

It also expecting allocation of land parcels in Jaitpura and Sardarpur industrial areas.

In Singhana and Dhansar villages in Dhar, the MSME department, Pithampur has identified parcels of 23 hectare and 19 hectare respectively.  (KNN Bureau)
