Textiles fair VASTRA 2015 begins today

Jaipur, Sept 28 (KNN) The fourth international apparel and textiles fair Vastra 2015 began today at Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre, Sitapura Industrial Area in Rajasthan.
It has an objective to create a new paradigm in terms of relevance and new product offerings in textiles and apparel while presenting enhanced business opportunities for all stakeholders with home furnishing as an attraction of this edition.
Over 300 overseas buyers from 56 countries are participating in the three-day global fair jointly organised by Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation Ltd (RIICO) and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).
Participants will be from the US, the UK, Japan, Australia, France, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Denmark, Bulgaria, Africa, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, China, Turkey, Canada and the UAE, among others.
Vastra would not only provide a market place for the manufacturers but it would also be an ideal platform for the upcoming fashion designers to interact and showcase their work to the pool of overseas buyers as well as exhibitors.
It would also provide global exposure to the traditional textile crafts artisans. The unique feature of this fair is B2B pre-fixed buyer-seller meetings. (KNN Bureau)
