Three MSME Regional Facilitation Councils to start in Kerala by August
Thiruvananthapuram, June 29 (KNN) Industries Minister of Kerala P Rajeeve has confirmed that operations of three MSME Regional Facilitation Councils will begin in the state from August.
Inaugurating the state-level Entrepreneurship Help Desk on International Micro, Small and Medium Entrepreneurship Day (June 27), he said that in the first three months of the year, 24,784 enterprises were registered.
He was accompanied by Minister for Local Self Government M V Govindan at the Mascot Hotel in Thiruvananthapuram.
The minister also said that some banks have come forward to offer loans to entrepreneurs at an interest rate of 4 per cent.
“We will ensure the support of other banks also,” he said.
Expressing government’s commitment in creating a robust industrial environment, he said that our policies are aimed to make entrepreneurial dreams come true through simpler procedures.
He urged the entrepreneurs to update and adapt to the changes over the course of time.
“In today’s society, may it be any business, it needs innovative and progressive ideas and technologies,” he said. (KNN Bureau)
