Madurai, Aug 18 (KNN) In a bid to provide financial assistance to micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) units, Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation (TIIC) is hosting a special campaign till September 2, 2022 in Madurai.

The campaign was inaugurated on Wednesday with an aim to provide a comprehensive guide on the distinct features of various financial assistance of TIIC as well as grants from Central and State governments.

It also focuses on new entrepreneurship and enterprise development programme such as the New Entrepreneur cum Enterprise Development Scheme (NEEDS) and Unemployed Youth Employment Generation Programme (UYEGP) scheme.

At this campaign investment subsidy of 25 per cent of up to Rs 1.50 crore will be given and public loan applications submitted during this camp period will get 50 per cent concession in their inspection fee.

Encouraging participation Collector S. Aneesh Sekhar has urged entrepreneurs to make use of the opportunity to realise their business plans by availing business loans and subsidy services of the Union and State governments.

TIIC provides loan assistance to MSMEs under various special schemes for setting up new industries, expansion of existing establishments and diversification of production.

The corporation also helps MSMEs with GST related channels and marketing along with support in removing professional difficulties such as making clarifications on raw material procurement.
