TN City Union Bank restructures 9 MSME borrowers accounts worth Rs 13.70 cr

New Delhi, Feb 5 (KNN) The City Union Bank (CUB) headquartered in Tamil Nadu has restructured 9 MSME borrowers account of Rs 13.70 crore.

The standalone net profit of the bank for Q3 third quarter rose 15 per cent to Rs 196 crore from the year-earlier period on account of lower provisions, said its regulatory report.

In view of interest income Rs 1,035 crore has been contacted from from Rs 1,048 crore.

While the net interest income remained flat at Rs 490 crore, non-interest income contracted 27 per cent to Rs 160 crore. 

The overall business improved by 7 per cent to Rs 85,109 crore, while Current Account Savings Account deposit rose 17 per cent to Rs 13,918 crore. (KNN Bureau)
