TN govt invites startups and companies working on emerging sector initiatives under TNESSF

Chennai, April 22 (KNN) The Tamil Nadu Government has invited startups and companies working on emerging sector initiatives under the Tamil Nadu Emerging Sector Seed Fund (TNESSF).

A total fund of Rs 50 crore has been allotted by the state government to be invested in selected startups, entrepreneurs or companies.

The government is also open for co-investing said, Shivaraja Ramanathan, CEO, Tamil Nadu Startup and Innovation Mission.

Showcasing the progress made by Tamil Nadu’s startup ecosystem, Ramanathan said on twitter, “Happy to share the launch of Rs 50 crore TN Emerging Sector Seed Fund by GoTN to be invested in Startups and also companies working on emerging sector initiatives. We are also open for co-investing.”

Apart fr0m startups, companies based in Tamil Nadu or willing to relocate to the state and are operating in an emerging sector or technology like AI/ML, Cloud Computing, Advanced Manufacturing, Robotics, Blockchain, Cyber security etc. are eligible to apply. (KNN Bureau)
