To seek hassle-free credit facility, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister calls Jaitley to the state
New Delhi, Nov 9 (KNN) In order to seek hassle-free credit facility, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur called Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley to the state.
He raised the issue with Jaitely that the state cooperative banks have not been made member lending institutions under the Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for micro and small enterprises and small farmers agri-business consortium.
Thakur asked the Finance Minister to intervene in order to ensure easy and hassle-free credit facility.
He added that this would not only help the cooperative banks in expanding credit portfolios but also go a long way in creating livelihood as well as growth and diversification of agriculture and agro-based industries.
Thakur quoted, "Owing to this reason, potential entrepreneurs are not getting collateral-free loans facility under the government of India programmes like Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojana."
The Chief Minister also urged for intervention regarding persuading the World Bank to continue to fund the Integrated Development Project for source sustainability.
