Top brass of WB MSME Dept organize video conference with entrepreneurs to solve their problems

New Delhi, Oct 3 (KNN) A video conference was held by top brass of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) and Textiles department in West Bengal, with entrepreneurs and business houses from the sector in North 24-Parganas.

The main purpose of the initiative is to solve various problems faced by the entrepreneurs in their district.

The step was taken following an instruction from Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, who had asked the top brass of the MSME department to address the issues of entrepreneurs.

It has been taken up in other districts as well, where the business houses can directly talk to senior officials of the MSME and Textiles department through video conference and solve their issues.

People often face problems while initiating a startup business in the state.

This initiative will now help the businessmen from the districts to solve their problems and they have also got a platform where they can convey their grievances.

During a business summit at Biswa Bangla Convention Centre, Banerjee said that video conferences would be held from Nabanna, where the MSME officials will listen to the grievances and problems of young entrepreneurs.

She also instructed the MSME and Textiles department officials to initiate a "single window video conference" for troubleshooting in the grassroot level.

Already as many as 19 various organizations of businessmen from North 24-Parganas have been brought under the ambit of the district chamber of commerce.
