Trichy SSI association gets new president

Trichy, Oct 16 (KNN) In an executive committee meeting held recently, T Raju Rebero has been elected President of Tiruchirapalli District Tiny and Small Scale Industries Association (TIDITSSIA) for the two year term 2013-15.
Other office bearers elected during the meeting were - Secretary S Punniyamurthy, Treasurer K Suresh Kumar, vice presidents P R Sethuraman, S Venugopal and N Kanagasabapathy and joint secretaries R Shanmugam and V Renganathan.
Having been in existence from May 1967, TIDITSSIA is district level small scale industry association formed to serve the cause of industries in the sector from the Tiruchirapalli District.
Building a healthy and powerful bond between government agencies and Industries through sustained efforts and firm commitment with systems for non-stop improvement is its focus.
Thus far, TIDITSSIA has made efforts towards achieving global standards through positive methods and interacting with related agencies.
With more than 350 direct and about 500 associated members, the association provides vital information to its members about the economic, financial and governmental policies and changes intimated by various inspectorates of customs, central excise, sales tax etc. (KNN/ES)
