E&Y To Help Puducherry Implement MSME support Initiatives Under RAMP Programme

Pondicherry, Feb 6 (KNN) The Pondicherry Industrial Promotion Development and Investment Corporation Limited (PIPDIC) has partnered with multinational consulting firm Ernst & Young (E&Y) to boost the development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the region.

This collaboration comes under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) program.

P. R Rudra Goud, Managing Director of PIPDIC, confirmed the engagement of E&Y in a recent press release, highlighting the strategic importance of this initiative for Pondicherry's economic growth.

Under the terms of the engagement, E&Y will be tasked with formulating a comprehensive Strategic Investment Plan (SIP) tailored specifically to address the needs and challenges facing the MSME sector in Pondicherry.

This plan aims to provide a roadmap for the sustainable development and expansion of MSMEs, thereby contributing to the overall economic prosperity of the region.

Crucially, stakeholders including members of the public and representatives from MSMEs will have the opportunity to actively participate in the preparation of the SIP by providing their valuable insights and feedback.
