Speaking about the Indian Army’s initiative, Javeed Mir, Sarpanch said, "The skill development initiative of the Army will provide local girls training in tailoring. Due to such initiatives, self-employment will be generated in the area. This will allow girls of the region to be financially independent.”

As per reports, the tailoring centre currently has four stitching machines for basic training.

“We are very grateful to the Indian army for providing us this centre. We do the tailoring inside the centre. We make 'pheeran' and 'suits', then sell them outside,” said Masrat Jaan, a resident of the village.  (KNN Bureau)
