UP CM directed officials for speedy establishment of MSME units in state
Lucknow, Jun 9 (KNN) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given instructions for speedy establishment of MSME units in the state under the MSME (Establishment and Operation Simplification) Act 2020.
The Chief Minister on Tuesday while reviewing the establishment of industries, also directed officials to ensure all possible help to industries which are reeling under the impact of the ongoing pandemic.
Taking to micro-blogging site twitter, the Chief Minister (CM) office said, '' Yogi Adityanath ji has given instructions for speedy establishment of MSME units in the state under the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Act. This will create new employment opportunities and the economy will grow rapidly.''
According to a UP government's spokesperson, the UP CM has also asked officials concerned to remain in touch with industries and inform them about the various incentives that they are eligible for under this Act.
''The main points of the Act should be highlighted and the establishment of MSME units should be simplified,” the spokesperson added.
Further, during the meeting, Additional Chief Secretary (MSME) Navneet Sehgal apprised the CM of various applications which have been received under the new rules for setting up MSME units.
''These applications would be cleared very soon,'' Sehgal informed the CM.
He also informed that a council had been set up in each of the 18 divisions which would help to implement the rules specified by the Act through extensive publicity.
All offices pertaining to MSMEs would also be made online soon, he said.
