UP Govt holds talk with MSMEs over Investors’ Summit

Lucknow, Feb 7 (KNN) The Uttar Pradesh Government is holding talks with the state’s micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) today after the sector expressed disappointment that the focus is all on big industries during the UP Investors’ Summit.

UP is all set to host the summit in just two weeks from now. The government has decided to hold day-long talks today with industrialists in Kanpur.

The government, however, denied that MSMEs were not being given due importance.

"Kanpur is an important industrial town and government is committed to promoting local industries. They are our real brand ambassadors," industrial development minister Satish Mahana has said. (KNN Bureau)
