UP is a big state, one cannot have a uniform policy for all districts: CM Yogi

New Delhi, May 1 (KNN) In order to improve the industrial scenario of Uttar Pradesh, the State government will take up work towards industrial development in the state, said Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath.

In a meeting with traders in Gorakhpur, he said that his government will generate resources to speed up the process of industrial development as manufacturing sector is the important sector that will not only change the face of Uttar Pradesh but also of backward areas.

Because Uttar Pradesh is a big state, one cannot have a uniform policy for each district, he added.

Thus in this regard, ODOP (One District One Product) scheme has been introduced under which indigenous products are promoted, said Adityanath.

Addressing the problems of traders in Gorakhpur, he urged the Divisional Commissioners and DMs to solve the problems of the traders at the earliest and make the environment feasible for the traders.

In addition, he said that the government will appoint 35,000 constables and 25,000 home guard jawans to maintain the law and order situation.

Commenting over law and order situation, he said that this government is committed for transparent administration. (KNN/YV)
