UP MSME Minister confirms mega textile park to come up in Lucknow and Noida

Lucknow, July 16 (KNN) Rakesh Sachan, MSME Minister of Uttar Pradesh said on Friday that a mega textile park will be set up in the state capital. 

The plan has been approved by the state government and the park will be established in 1000 acres in Malihabad area of Lucknow. 

It will come up under central government’s PM Mitra scheme for which a financial assistance of Rs 1000 crore will be given. 

The MSME Minister told the media that the project would offer employment opportunities to about five lakh people. 

Another mega apparel park will come up in Noida for which land has been allotted. 

The project has attracted investment of Rs 3000 crore for 115 units. Around two lakh people will get jobs.  (KNN Bureau)
