Kochi, Oct 31  (KNN) Uttar Pradesh will soon have a world class spices park which will offer processing facilities on par with international standards at Sadar Tehsil of Rae Bareli district.

The park will be set up by the Spices Board of India under the ministry of commerce and industry. It will be an infrastructure facility for the purpose of processing and value addition of mint and mint products.

In this regard, the board is seeking partnership from entrepreneurs, exporters and processors for establishing and running the mint processing facilities for commercial operation.

Spices Board is a government regulatory organisation for the development and worldwide promotion of India spices.  It provides an international link between the Indian exporters and the importers abroad.

The Regional crop specific Spices Park is a well-conceived approach to have an integrated operation for cultivation, post harvesting, processing for value addition, packaging, storage and exports of spices and spice products by meeting the quality specifications of the consuming countries.  (KNN/ST)
